A Good Time Was Had By All
October 31, 2010
What a great time both young and old had after church on Sunday, October 31st! Halloween games and treats had been
set up in the Fellowship Hall for all to enjoy. It was great to see the adults and children alike line up to guess
which boxes held the witch's hair, or the werewolf's heart, or the vampire's intestines, etc, etc. Everyone wanted
to clean their hands afterwards, but that didn't stop anyone from wanting to play! Some twice!
The Candy Corn Relay was a joy to watch as all the children raced back and forth between the cauldrons to be the first to empty the candy corn from their pot. There was Smashing Pumpkins, Pin the Nose, but the most competitive of the congregation could be found quietly sitting at their tables and furiously working to complete the Halloween word search.
The adults may have had more fun than the children, but the children showed their spirit by the great costumes they wore. Was that Pastor Phil we saw standing near the candy dish? The man does have a sweet tooth. We all enjoyed.
